BSOおよびPr添加LuAGシンチレーターの発光量とその温度依存を測定し、BSOは純CsIと同程度、Pr添加LuAGは純CsIの5倍程度の発光量であること、温度係数はBSOが1℃あたり1%、Pr添加LuAGが1℃あたり0.5%であることがわかった。ガンマ線および中性子を照射する放射線損傷試験を行い、特にBSO はNatural Recovery終了後の光量は未照射の光量とほぼ同じで非常に放射線耐性が高いことが分かった。
