31. Measurement of the Time-integrated WS-to-RS ratio of the ”Wrong-Sign” D0 −→ K+π−π0 decay at Belle II / Chanchal Sharma, Kavita Lalwani [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-034]
15 September 2023

In the standard model, mixing and CP violation in the charm sector are ex-9 pected to be very small and thus they constitute a sensitive probe for potential new physics contributions. [...]

32. Measurement of raw asymmetry in $D^{0}\longrightarrow K^{0}_{s}K^{0}_{s}$ decay at Belle II / Sanjeeda Bharati Das ; Kavita Lalwani [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-033]
15 September 2023

The decay $D^{0}\longrightarrow K^{0}_{s}K^{0}_{s}$ is a singly Cabibbo-suppressed transition that involves the interference between $c\overline{u}\longrightarrow s\overline{s}$ and $c\overline{u}\longrightarrow d\overline{d}$ amplitudes, mediated by the exchange of a W boson at the tree level, that can generate CP asymmetries at the 1% level, even if the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa phase is the only source of CP. [...]

33. Recent Belle II results on time-dependent CP violation and charm / Michele Veronesi [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-032]
08 September 2023

Analysis of time-dependent CP violation are flagship measurements of the Belle II physics program. [...]
34. Recent Belle II results on radiative and electroweak penguin decays / Jacopo Cerasoli [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-031]
28 July 2023

Radiative and electroweak penguin decays are excellent probes for new physics, since they are forbidden at tree level in the Standard Model, and hence any deviation from their predicted branching fractions would be a clear sign of physics processes not accounted for by the theory. [...]

35. Recent Belle II results on time-dependent CP violation and charm physics / J. Bennett [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-030]
19 July 2023

We present recent measurements of time-dependent CP violation and charm physics results from the Belle~II experiment. [...]

36. Belle~II results related to $b \to c$ anomalies / Kazuki Kojima [BELLE2-TALK-CONF-2023-025] [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-029] Contribution to the 2023 Electroweak session of the 57th Rencontres de Moriond
17 July 2023

We report two new measurements for tests of lepton flavor universality between electrons and muons using semileptonic $B$ decays with a data set of $189~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ collected at the Belle II experiment between 2019 and 2021. [...]

37. Search for the decay $B \rightarrow D^* \eta \pi$ in Belle II / Vismaya V S ; S. Sandilya ; K. Trabelsi [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-028]
12 July 2023

Recent measurements of semileptonic decays show a difference between the branching ratio of the sum of exclusive decay rates and the inclusive $b \rightarrow c \ell \nu$ decay rate (the so-called Semi-Leptonic (SL) gap) which affects the interpretation of the CKM element $|Vcb|$. [...]

38. Charged Particle Identification Performances in Belle II / Swarna Prabha Maharana; ; Vismaya V S; ; Saurabh Sandilya [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-027]
12 July 2023

An efficient Particle identification(PID) is crucial for Belle II as it deals with a much higher event rate than Belle and ultimately with a more extensive background. [...]

39. Charged Particle Identification with the TOP detector at Belle II / Vismaya V S ; L. Nayak ; S. Sandilya [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-026]
12 July 2023

The Belle II detector is located at the SuperKEKB energy-asymmetric $e^{+}$-$e^{-}$ collider and has acquired the world’s highest instantaneous luminosity this year. [...]

40. Study of photon energy bias using π0 → γγ decays from D∗+ −→ D0(→ K−π+π0)π+ at Belle II / Chanchal Sharma [BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2023-025]
12 July 2023

Photon energy bias is used to compute the corrections to the reconstructed photon energy and improve data-simulation agreement in analyses having final states with photons. [...]
