Abstract: A precise knowledge of the elements |πππ| and |ππ’π| of the CKM matrix is important to constraint the Standard Model of particle physics and predict the rate of ultra-rare π΅ meson decays such as π΅βππ or π΅βπΎππΒ―. In this talk I will review the experimental status of these fundamental parameters with a focus on the latest developments and new results from the Belle and Belle II experiments.
