Measurement of Branching Fraction of $\Lambda_c^+ \to p K_S^0 \pi^0$ at Belle}

Abstract We report a precise measurement of the ratio of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK_S^0\pi^0)/\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK^-\pi^+)$ using an integrated luminosity of 980.6 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data from the Belle experiment. The value is obtained as $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK_S^0\pi^0)/\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK^-\pi^+)=0.343\pm 0.002\pm 0.009$, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. This measurement is the most precise thus far, with a fivefold improvement in precision over previous results, and is consistent with the world average. By combining this with the world average $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK^-\pi^+)$, we obtain the absolute branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(\Lambda_c^+\to pK_S^0\pi^0)=(2.16\pm 0.01\pm 0.05)\%$.
