Belle II実験の電磁カロリメーターでCsI(Tl)シンチレーターの発光を読み出すPIN-PD電流モニターのデータを解析し、2021年3月〜6月の運転期間中の放射線被曝はバレル部の前方で0.20 Gy~0.25 Gy、後方で0.33 Gy~0.39 Gy、後方エンドキャップ部の外側で0.40 Gy~0.55 Gy、内側で0.73 Gy~1.02 Gy と算出した。

中性BメソンがJ/ψメソンとK*0メソンへ二体崩壊する過程について、モンテカルロシミュレーションにより当該事象を22%の効率で再構成できること、Bメソンの崩壊点を33ミクロンの位置分解能で再構成できることを示した。さらにBelle II実験が収集した2.6/fbのデータから49±7事象の信号を見出し、期待値と無矛盾であることを示した。

Belle II実験の電磁カロリメーターが使用しているPINフォトダイオードの電流値を測定するシステムを構築・運用し、SuperKEKB加速器第二期運転期間中の放射線量は0.4Gyであったことがわかった。また、LYSOカウンターを高速サンプリング読み出しすると数十μsの時間スケールで放射線量の増減を測定できることを示した。
