APD を純CsI、BSO、BGOの3種の結晶シンチレーターと組み合わせた電磁カロリメーター用カウンターのプロトタイプの 性能テストを行い、特にBGOシンチレーターと1cm角の面積を持つAPDを組み合わせ、時定数100nsの波形整形回路で読み出すとチャンネルあたり雑音を0.22MeVまで低減できることがわかった。
