Together with a state-of-the-art detector upgrade, a rich physics program will be accessible by Belle II. Highlights are beyond-the-standard-model physics searches in precision measurements of the flavor sector and a rich spectroscopy program. Belle II is set to see first collisions at the end of April of this year, and by the time of this presentation, the second commissioning phase with beam and the full detector, except the vertex detector, will be in full swing. This talk will give the status of the commissioning as well as an outlook of the physics program with a focus on measurements possible with data from phase II. 000000942 8560_ $$fdoris.yangsoo.kim@desy.de 000000942 8564_ $$uhttps://docs.belle2.org/record/942/files/BELLE2-TALK-CONF-2018-064.pdf
