Belle II is preparing to start recording collisions at the $\Upsilon(4S)$\ energy in 2018 and collect $50\invab$\ of data by 2025, a factor of 50 more than the Belle experiment. We report prospects for measuring the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa angle $\phi_3(\gamma)$\ and observables in semileptonic $B$\ meson decays associated with the unitary matrix element $V_{ub}$. 000000699 6531_ $$aphi 3 000000699 6531_ $$aCKM 000000699 6531_ $$aVub 000000699 8560_ $$filya.komarov@desy.de 000000699 8564_ $$uhttps://docs.belle2.org/record/699/files/BELLE2-CONF-PROC-2017-029.pdf
