Abstract We report the measurements of branching fraction ($\mathcal{B}$) and time dependent $\CP$-violating asymmetry ($\ACP$ and $\SCP$) in the charmless decays $\Bz\to K^0\pi^0$ at Belle~II. A sample of $\ep\en$ collisions, corresponding to $361.5\invfb$ of integrated luminosity, recorded near the $\Upsilon(4S)$ resonance is used for the study. We find $XXX$ signal candidates, and measure $\mathcal{B}(\Bz \to \Kz \piz) = [XX \pm YY \stat \pm ZZ \syst] \times 10^{-6}$ and $\ACP = XX\pm YY\stat \pm ZZ\syst$.
