Abstract: The software framework of the Belle II experiment was improved and extended with the aim of both simplifying physics analyses and providing more powerful tools. Building on this foundation, the Full Event Interpretation provides an automated algorithm to generically reconstruct B mesons. Higher reconstruction efficiencies, analysis-specific optimisation and the integration of semileptonic decay channels are likely to improve many analyses.
