Abstract: The rate of semitauonic B decays has been consistently above theory expectations since these decays were first measured. Recently significant differences between the forward-backward asymmetry in B→D∗eν and B→D∗μν were also reported. This talk presents recent results on lepton flavor universality tests from Belle II and LHCb.
