000000299 520__ $$aAn imaging time-of-propagation (TOP) counter is being developed for PID in the barrel region and a proximity focusing RICH counter with aerogel radiator in the forward region of the Belle II spectrometer. We report on the optimization of the two systems, and of the performance of the almost final prototypes conducted with test beams at CERN, DESY and SPRING8.
