Abstract: Prospects of semi-leptonic decays with taus are discussed in this talk, with a focus on R(D) and R(D*), $B \rightarrow X\tau \nu$, and $\B \rightarrow \tau \nu $. Developments in the Belle II software and analysis chain relevant to these measurements are also mentioned.
