Abstract: We study the charged lepton flavor violating decay tau -> l alpha, where alpha is a non-standard invisible boson that leaves the Belle II detector undetected and l is either an electron or a muon. This Note presents plots showing the optimization procedure, relevant observables, and upper limit estimates using Belle II simulated data, assuming no tau -> l alpha signal in 62.8/fb of integrated luminosity.
