Background studies for B0-mixing with hadronic final states at the Belle II experiment.

Abstract: We perform Monte Carlo studies of systematic uncertainties related to backgrounds in time-dependent measurements of the B mixing frequency and lifetime in the B→πD(→Kππ) decay mode. A fit of the background components to 64 fb^-1 Belle II data is performed in two slices of the beam-constrained mass, as well as MC studies on constraining backgrounds from the sideband.
