Abstract: The Belle II experiment, installed on the asymmetric e+e- collider SuperKEKB, aims to collect 50ab-1 of data, increasing the statistics by a factor of 40 compared to its predecessor Belle. In 2018 Belle II collected 0.5fb-1 of data, in March 2019 the second phase of data acquisition with complete detector began and 10fb-1 are expected by summer. In the present talk the state of the art of the Belle II experiment in the field of dark matter research with mass of the GeV order will be exposed, discussing in particular preliminary results obtained with the data of 2018.
