000001054 520__ $$aThe following thesis analyses whether the Belle II detector is sensitive to the tau neutrino mass and could therefore provide an upper limit on the tau neutrino mass below the one assumed today. The reconstruction of the decay tau- ->  pi- pi+ pi- pi0 nu_tau is analysed and some sensitivity evidences are presented using an analysis method that exploits the decay’s kinematic boundary.
