Abstract After the tremendous achievements of the first generation B factories, the new generation Bfactory SuperKEKB at KEK is designed to explore the intensity frontier. It has succeeded beam circulation commissioning in 2016. The associated Belle II experiment will start physics data taking within 2 years. The target total integrated luminosity is 50ab-1, which is 50 times larger than the Belle experiment. This offers high data statistics for precision measurements and rare decay studies. In these proceedings, I will highlight some major topics of the Belle II physics, e.g. precision measurements of the CKM parameters, searching for more exotic states, and probing new physics in rare decays. A few possible early measurements will also be discussed.
