Abstract A mechanism beyond the Standard Model is needed to explain neutrino masses. One possibility is the addition of a heavy right-handed neutrino, which may also have a Majorana mass, that can naturally explain the smallness of the observed neutrino masses via the so-called "see saw" mechanism. In this talk I present a search performed by Belle for a heavy neutrino produced in B-meson decays. I also provide an overview of the prospects for constraining the tau neutrino mixing at both Belle and Belle II.
