Abstract The Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB collider has been collecting asymmetric-energy electron-positron collisions at the Υ(4S) at the world`s highest intensities since 2018. A data sample comparable in size to that of predecessor experiments, collected with a novel detector and analyzed with advanced analysis techniques, provides unique or world leading results in indirect searches for non-standard-model physics based on the weak interactions of quarks, determination of fundamental standard-model parameters, and direct searches for low-mass dark matter particles. This talk will present a selection of recent results.
