Abstract: The Belle II experiment is the next generation of B-factory experiment at KEK in Tsukuba, Japan. The construction of the SuperKEKB accelerator and the Belle II detector is now in progress and is aiming for the first physics run in 2018. In the presentation, the key physics goal of the experiment and the current status of the accelerator and the detector will be reported.
